Christopher and Sonya Dove
Christopher and Sonya Dove, known as “The Doves,” are hair stylists based in Santa Monica, California, USA.
Born in England, the Doves attended South Devon Technical College in Devon, England, and then opened Sophisticut Salon in 1980. From 1984 to 1993, they toured the world as stylists. In 1994, they moved to the United States to work as creative directors for Shelton Salons and Schools and became USA ambassadors for Wella’s Global Trend Vision, launching product lines for the company.
In 1998, they moved to New York becoming creative directors for Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salons 〔http://www.beautylaunchpad.com/onlinesalonseries〕 and worked out of the 5th Avenue flagship location.
